LES Methodology
COST Action P20: LES-AID is a 4 year EU program that started February 2006.
The aim of COST Action LESAID is to stimulate the development and application of small-scale turbulence modeling and numerical methods for large-eddy
modeling and numerical methods for large-eddy simulation of realistic technological and scientific problems.
Four focal areas are identified and organized in separate working-groups:
The target is to formulate Best Practice Advice for Lare-Eddy Simulation (BPAL) that can be used in industrial applications.
